Thanks for the quick reply on my question. Yes it is the "expander" that I mean. Do you think that a ridiculous amount of cranking (start then stall) may have put so much fuel through it that it had the oil leaking from somewhere? Maybe combined with the missing expander? I did though, have success in starting/running her properly finally, by changing the CONDENSER (I use caps because it was what the forum always suggests). Thanks again. I need all the help I can muster because I am getting older and nearly worn out myself.
