My advice with the painting would be to have a go yourself. It's not at all hard to get a nice finish if you take your time and prepare everything thoroughly. The only professionals that will do a significantly better job are auto painters (and they certainly will do a very high end job) but the price won't be cheap. If you paint it yourself, you can also touch it up down the track if you happen to scratch for example. I think you'll get more satisfaction from knowing you've done it yourself also
