In the workshop we use a lot of cordless tools. The only real air tools we use is the air blower and the tyre inflator. We all have 18v Makita products. I bought mine not long after I started my traineeship and I have had zero problems, that is using it everyday. The main things I use are the impact driver, which I have an attachment for sockets (great for zipping off anything, engine cowls, carby screws etc), The smaller Impact wrench, used for push mower blades and small ride ons. Then the lager style impact wrench for big ride ons and zero turns.
Also have other things too, torch, cordless hammer drill, angle grinder. These 18v Makita products are great and save me a lot of time. With no air line needed you can take them anywhere which is great.
