Great Question Manch as I will be spraying hammer finish too.
I was told by the guy at the paint shop to make sure its thick enough to get the true hammer finish. This sounds like a balancing act as if you are using a spray gun it usually needs to be fairly thin.
Any advice in this topic would be greatly appreciated.
