Joe is right, that carby has been turned around.
You could change it back, I think I have a spare "Primerless" face here somwhere, you just pop off the carby, fit the grey primerless face upside down, then fit the carby upside down on the bayonet.
Alternatively, I'll see if I have a remote-primer face and button, same procedure as above, you just then need to fit the remote button and vacuum line.
