staffee, if the reel has been freshly sharpened and your only problem is that it does not match the bedknife, it is a bit frustrating because the reel can only be sharpened a limited number of times before it runs out of meat and becomes useless. I suggest you speak to an expert at your local bowls club or the sharpener they recommend, to see what can be done without regrinding your reel. They may be able to just grind your bedknife, then lap the reel and bedknife together.
