Hi Blumbly, Unfortunately I haven't got much knowledge of the Scott Bonnar rotaries, but I am doing some research on your machine for you, as we speak.
Taking the Model 45 Scotty as being introduced in 1968, one would presume if the model numbers were applied sequentially, that the Model 49 was introduced late 60's to early 70's.
It is in fantastic condition for its age, and would restore beautifully.
