G'day.
My 45 series (on a MTD 22" mulcher body) is starting to get really clattery. It gets used a lot, and in some pretty bad conditions. I'm having trouble getting the air cleaner to seal properly, so I'm suspecting that grit & sand has done the deed on the rings, etc.

Economically-wise, is it worth rebuilding?
If so, where do I get the kit (probably go 0.020 oversize to be sure) & what sort of $$?

Or, if not worth it - how much for a replacement donk?
