Thanks for the replies. There is nothing really wrong with the engine. It has sat in a shed for about two years before i bought it and has not been used. The carb floods, so i thought i would have a look through the whole thing and see if it needs a freshen up while it is not in use and give it a bit of a birthday. Bit of a spanner nut i guess!!
