Laurie, I load photos (so long as they are very small files) by switching to full reply screen, and using the file manager.

If the engine does not stop when you switch off, the magneto kill wire is not being grounded. According to the manual, on the mower this is a red wire running from the M terminal on the 5 terminal key switch, through an assortment of safety switches, to the magneto of the engine. You keep describing it as a red/white wire, but the manual says it is plain red. Have you connected the magneto kill wire on the new engine? If you have connected the engine kill wire to the red-white wire and it does not stop when you switch if off, there is an error in the safety circuit. Just find the wire on the engine that leads to the magneto, and look at what you've done with the free end of it.
