Hello All, If anyone finds themselves restoring a mower which is minus a grass deflector it should be known that a simple replacement can be made using a section of 150mm PVC pipe. I did this for my 1766 ATCO and found the circumfrence to be absolutely perfect, obviously PVC is very easy to work with and after a few coats of paint it blends in effortlessly with the rest of the steel and iron. Whilst not on the shelves at Bunnings, you can get 150mm PVC off-cuts for free from your local commercial building site.
