I've got an older Masport mower with a B&S motor, serial number
92908 220801 82072108. I previously have replaced the carby with a late model one which has no carby adjustment screw.
The mower starts first pull 90% of the time, if not then the second pull. Runs perfectly but then after about 20min stops. Then doesn't like to start. It started today after I changed the spark plug but was spluttering the rest of the time. Last time it happened it didn't want to start. When I used it 2 weeks later stated first go.
I also noticed today when I started it it spluttered slightly for about 30 secs.
Does anyone have an idea on what it could be?
It's a good older mover and I don't want to retire it yet.
