Well guys, i decided to use the foam filter oil, and it still runs well. So my thinking was that why not use a product designed for this job - i am sure engine oil works fine, but as the label says it is engine oil.
Actual foam filter oil is tackier and is also designed to allow good airflow thru the filter while arresting the maximum amount of dirt and dust.
One other thing, how much should i pay if i can find a catcher for my mower?
