Hi grumpy, to me the paint on the chassis seems to be a solid colour, rather than hammertone, and more greenish than aqua, sort of a darker version of the original Scott Bonnar Model 40 colour, which was also a solid colour. The Briggs is silver metallic.
Overall, IMO, I think it would make a great restoration; if it could be purchased at the right price and location... (pick-up only) wink
