Seems like it was probably a hammertone paint in a colour halfway between blue and green, with a silver 2 hp Briggs engine. Then I guess it got some rust areas, and somebody blew half of it over with some red oxide primer. Looks to be in decent shape for an original mower that's about 50 years old - surprisingly good in fact. Maybe it wouldn't look so good on closer inspection? Life's full of disappointments.
