The Alpina is all finished, I ground 3mm off the ends of the 52mm piston rings,worked out well runs nice. The Stihl S10 needs new rings, which are on the way from the US, I noticed some bright spark welded the sprocket nut to the crank . My guess is they didn't realize it's a left hand thread & stripped the thread on the nut, anyway I ground the weld off then removed the nut with a rattle gun. The crank thread looks ok just need a new nut. cheers gmax
