Have stripped it down. Geez it's a year since I first posted!
Anyway, the black oily ooze I was talking about originally, looks like it's coming from behind the flywheel, so I am guessing the crankshaft oil seal is leaking?
I have chased the McCulloch part no. as 83859. Is this available to order through this forum?
