Yes it did surprise me I expected different sizes. I didn't really check the engine pulley I just pulled it off the old motor and put it on the new motor but I guess it was about 100 in diameter. As far as I could see the belt went directly from the engine pulley to the rear pulley so the cone would have been rotating slightly slower than engine revs
