Thanks to all but that is not the end of it, please read on. Tyre flat, repaired puncture, inflated with ropey gauge at garage, burst tube. Bought tube at local Hardware, installed, inflated, did not hold. Water test tube, after persevering found pin hole link. Returned to Hardware and managed to wangle a replacement . Installed, inflated, did did not hold. Water test, found leak. What conclusions can I draw? I do believe that this tube, relative to its diameter, is stiffer than a car tyre and needs a bit of scrunching to install. But also I need to be more gentle or it is beyond my handyman skills?
