Hi nath hi NormK, no not over revving but now surging after I tried Norm's suggestion. I had to use ether to start as it wouldn't give a peep no matter what. I have refilled it with reasonably fresh (a few months old) 95 premium. Both springs are there.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
