Thanks Norm, I pulled my Mayfair down recently and the only thing wrong with the existing G3 carby is that the little gear has a crack in it. I could try carefully gluing it I guess. They do not seem to be available any longer, which is a shame. If anybody has one, please let me know. It will save me having to buy a new carby. Amazing to think, that one tiny part is all that is stopping this engine from running!
