So with no response yet I took it upon myself to remove the boss/sleeve from both crankshafts, remove the crankshafts, and attempt to put the long crankshaft into the engine block. It looks like it will most likely fit, however, I didn't consider that I'll probably need a press to be able to get the "new" crankshaft in frown haha.
