Hello Tomo and all others of the forum.
In relation to this matter of G3 carburettors, I recently purchased 2 used units, in the hope of stripping them both down to make one good unit, which ended up being quite successful. The end result was a working rebuilt G3 on my Victa Mayfair.
When assessing the jets it appeared to me that there were 2 distinctly different sized bores in these jets- as this was going on a 125 cc engine, I used the smaller of the 2 jets, assuming the larger for the 160 cc version of these pre Powertorque 2 stroke engines from Victa. It ran beautifully- 2 nd spin from cold from the trip starter, after a good cleanup and overhaul.
Is this the case- 2 sized jets for the 2 different displacement engines, or was I seeing things, being an early bird in the garage???
