Yes I too have heard nothing really works to get rid of pesky possums ,all the deterrents are only effective against timid possums, resistance is futile.
Netting,wire fences and removing vegetation will keep them out ,I don't have a possum problem , too many foxes and owls here , cats are good at eradicating possums.
