im not to sure how this site works but i want to ask a question about my 80s mtd ride a mower i fitted a new deck belt along with a new pulley on the deck was working great until i hit an old grape vine stump not very substantial about 30ml across then after that all it will do is squeal under load a normal 18 cut would chew any sort of load ie grass my theory is the engine mounts on the engine its a twelve hrse br maybe worn out is this possible i think under load the engine is moving that little bit but just guessing any help would be appriciated
