Thanks stevej I didn't know how hard they were to find when I purchased my Sheerline. If you do come across one please let me know.I can't start the restore until I have that. That and the handle bar badge.I just a week ago got the the front and rear flaps for it.So with the cowl it would be on it's way.Thank's stevej

Is it possible to do it up as the other type of sheerline while you wait to find a cowl, or are there differences other than the cowl?
Cheers Ty

So if you wanted to start restorations on a sheerline 6, but you didnt have the cowl yet, you could restore it with a utility cowl to look like a 9, and leave it like that till you found a 6 cowl.

Well yes I could, but I do have some time up my sleeve. For at the moment I'm currently restoring a Model 1,Model 2,Model 2A,Model 3,4 Model 5's and two VC-160's,plus trying to fit Goliath in there as well.So I think doing 10 restores at once is properly about 8 more than I should be.So I guess that gives me time to find what I need for some mowers before I get to them.I should do a parts list to what I need somebody may have bits I need.
