I have a vulcan mower with the same blade plate, could you really mount 8 blades on it?

I reckon it would chop it up really finely as mulch. Well maybe it would.

Re Micka and the Yamaha engine They are areally great engine, They have a separate oil bath for the bottom bearing etc. Very good set up there. As you well know the bottom end of the cranksaht really does get a lot of load on it and Yamaha have really taken care of this . I sold a lot of these to farmers for mowing irrigation channels and they were a top mower. The chassis were not much good though but having said that the makers would sell you just a chassis and you could replace the chassis . I dont know if they still sell the chassis by itself but I did see csome Big Bob type of mower in a shop here the other day and I see they have re-inforced the handle with a really good stay on the lower handles Cheers Joe

Re the 8 blades ..........The holes in that particular cutter disc is aUniversal type. Theholes .........some are square to take Turner type bolts and some are eliptical to tatake Victa and from memory there are D shpes as well for Rover or Pace D type bolts I saw some discs this morning while looking for a Vict 9B . but I did not really look at them closely. Came across some good 9c plates though and will be putting on Ebay maybe tomorrow Cheers Joe .
