Hi everyone!

The past 2 weeks have been very good for me. I found this Turner 4M being given away just down the road from me. It makes me wonder how this mower could end up like this, considering this would have cost 76 pounds 13 shillings in its day ($2,355.10 in todays money). The base is still in very nice condition though, so now I just need to find an engine.

I found a very nice H.G. Palmer as well, with catcher and side cover. I have the cowl badge coming in the mail. I was just wondering if anyone could date this one for me? Cheers.

Also got this nice Viceroy, which will sit in the shed for a few years until I find the parts for it.

Thanks everyone! If anyone could help out with parts it would be much appreciated, especially for the Turner.

Hi Kye,
Nice lot of rare mowers you have picked up there.

It took me a couple of years finding a starter, starter drum and muffler for my Viceroy.

The H G Palmer is from around 1967.

Cheers
Max.

Thanks heaps Max! Its later than I expected it to be, but it is still an extremely awesome looking mower. I am probably going to keep it just because of all the chrome and the big fins going from front to back. Reminds me a bit of a 1957 Chev Belair.

Thanks Max!

The cowl badge arrived today. I am planning on buying some red model paint to use on the base badge, just to make it look a little bit better. Has anyone got any colour recommendations? I have to say, the cowl badge makes it look 100%, I don't keep many mowers these days but I think this one will have to stay with me.

Does anyone know if the catcher is the original colour? It just doesn't look right to me.

Thanks everyone! smile

Hi Kye and ODK Members,

I have noticed a few of the HG Palmers of the same model don’t have the cowl chrome header?
