I do have a bit of respect for the Lawn Beetle motor, no respect for the rest of it. You may find that with a squirt of starter fluid it will probably start. Then it is a case of check to see if it has been run on ethanol. If all checks out it is then a case of making sure the choke is shutting fully
I would be all over it, those motors are far superior to most of the other Chonda stuff, maybe Sanli have a bit more control over design and manufacture, pity about the plastic bodies
Lawnkeeper by Victa compatible? I had a Masport with dead Briggs a while ago. Would have been good as a transplant for that. It had a good steel chassis with good wheels, but missing catcher. I disposed of it. Think I will become a hoarder.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
Haven't seen many of those Lawn Beetle mowers before. Do retailers sell them here or they only available online from ebay sellers? Is that a plastic deck? lol. Gees even the Aldi mowers at least have a steel deck. lol
Speaking of mowers left somewhere, the other day I saw a old red Rover complete with black catcher sitting on a nature strip near here. Anyway I went for a drive and thought if it's still there when I get back i'll grab it. Well guess what it was gone in about 30 minutes! Oh well I probably should have grabbed it when I saw it. But I thought it's an old pretty worn out Rover 4 stroke. I didn't jump at it as I like the old Victa 2 stroke mowers. But the fact it was complete with catcher I probably should have grabbed it, oh well better luck next time.
Cheers!

Zip a dee doo dah, zip a dee ay, another trash picked Victa, hip hip Hooray!
I always struggle to find a good Rover catcher and even if it is good on the outside, the screen is usually damaged or missing, but at least I can make up a new screen, but it all takes time. Be careful Converse, you get one, then you see another and then you need another to fix the first one and before you know it they are all around you and you don't know which one to fix first and then it happens. Converse I have had a couple of bigger Yardman at least 18 inch, could be 19 inch that had plastic bodies, now they are a bit of a pain to cut up and fit in the rubbish bin. Problem most people hate about the Beetle is to adjust the height you have to remove each wheel
Ha yes NormK it's starting to get a bit like that already, I am parking the Victa's around the yard now and they are becoming permanent garden fixtures...lol. Oh well the people with double storey houses can enjoy the views of old Victa's around my yard..lol (yes they all own new 4 stroke Aldi type mowers...lol).
Might have to get a few more tarps to help keep the elements off them during the colder months...lol
Cheers!
