4 stroke.
A gumtree giveaway.
It started and ran ok,
Needed a good throttle cable, and good blades.
But blade bolts rusted so I took the boss of, broke a bolt.....
Had to take the boss off. Drill it out Learned how to do that.
soak in wd40 overnight........
Ground the blade nuts off......It worked, ready to assemble.

I love doing this stuff..

It's nice when everything comes together after learning a new approach. These blade bosses seem to have a penchant for snapping bolts right at the surface level.
They must fatigue with all that spinning.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

I think it's moisture that gets into the exposed hole at the top and rusts, locking the bolt..........
The Victa way is better.
cheers

Had to take fuel tank?carb off and throughly clean it ... and put a throttle cable on and then a another blade disk as the one on it wasn't low enough...... oil change with oil and Moreys oil treatment, new piece of sponge in the air filter
It's good, mowed the lawn.
