Hello I'm after some help, I've recently purchased a Scott bonnar 20". It's has a Kirby techemseh on it. I wanted to try and keep the original motor if I could. It needs and new fuel bulb, and a filter element and case. Can anybody help where I can source parts for these parts. Hopefully that's all I need to start it. Is there a parts list anywhere for these motors. Cheers ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2017/07/full-9489-34992-img_2027.png)

This looks like the $360 20 inch machine that was sold by one of our members on ePrey

You will need to prime the carb first. I use ether/ start ya bastard to get it going. It will go second pull. Jordan

G'day mate. I've had no luck with trying to start it. Fuel get into the carby, ( well I think it does) as it will leak out the little screw when there is to much in there. I've tried the throttle in both positions as I'm not sure which way it goes. And no luck, I have ordered a new Prima bulb. But thought it should go with out it. Not having much luck. Is there a special way I should be priming the carby.

It wont prime until the bulb is fixed. Take off the air filter and spray some ether down there and get pulling. Be sure to confirm you have spark

I have put a puncture repair patch over the hole and it seems to hold. I have taken the spark plug off and touched it against the metal frame. I have a spark. Sorry. It quiet sure what you mean by spaying something down the air filter hole. I have also noticed a drain hose of some sort that runs down to the bottom of the motor has broken off From somewhere. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. But I have a new bulb coming at the end of the week hopefully. I'm trying to avoid buying a new motor Is here a sequence on how to start the mower.

There's no secret to starting to it. Go to repco/ supercheap and buy a can of start ya bastard. If you have spark, fuel flow is fine then it will start no dramas

Is there meant to be a screw of some sort that goes from the clutch, onto the shaft of the engine. It is pretty sloppy.

Might need a rechargeable drill to start it! So long as your drill has a clutch in case the mower backfires or the drill gets stuck, it sure saves a lot of pulling, and I've found some older engines need a really good spin to get going.

I've managed to get the Engine started with the aid of the spay, the engine itself runs very rough and won't keep a constant idle, when I move the throttle to full it nearly conks out, is there any adjustment screw I need to adjust. I have also noticed there is a drain line of some sort broken off, I should note I'm still waiting for a new Prima bulb, don't know if that has anything to do with it. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2017/07/full-5156-35033-full_9489_35013_img_2037.jpg)

Two screws right in the middle of the pic. I suggest reading up on them and understand what they do. Idle adjustment screw is there. Make sure the springs are working properly/ allowing full travel. Again just seach and theres a heap of threads

Will do. Do you know what the hose hat is broken goes onto. It look like a drain line,as it clips to the bottom on the engine and just runs to the ground.

I think the broken one is your crankcase breather, it is sometimes fed back into the air filter or just vented to air.
