I'm looking for a cutting head for a Stihl FS 66 straight shaft brush cutter or a similar head suitable for a small 24mm diameter shaft.

I'm based in Sydney and I'm happy to pay for shipping around Australia.

Do you mean the angle gearbox or the black line head?

If you only want the black line head, GA Spares market a 'Speed-Feed' head that comes with adaptors that should suit.

These heads are a lot easier to load compared to the original as you cut the line to length, insert the line through the slot & wind the head up by hand.

yes, I need the angle gearbox for an old unit I'm restoring. Most modern whipper snippers have the alloy tube diameter of either 26mm or 28mm. The machine I have is only 24mm and nothing would fit.

Yes the � to AUD is nearly double at the moment.

There is bound to be one in a local store somewhere. Unfortunately the new owner of the old Stihl & Deutscher shop nearby scrapped the contents of a 40ft container that was full of new old stock parts a couple of years ago.
