I just did a mental count of my fleet of rotary mowers and I have sixteen Victas and one Rover with Suzuki 2 stroke (not working). Of the Victas: *Two are 125cc 2 stroke (One dismantled pending mild restoration/repaint). *Four are 160cc 2 Stroke full crank engine. One 1972 VC with G3 carby and not working properly, one Mayfair with G4 carby one 1980s Mustang with LM carby and electronic ignition. One self propelled non working from same period. *Two are 4 stroke, one not playing ball. *One Supreme Twin 170cc. *Remaining seven are various powertorque 160cc including a white Mustang GTS and yellow Vortex. All work except the sole example with the Chinese powertorque with widely spaced cooling fins.
________ 17 total.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
G'day folks, Only three here - the everyday Masport Maxicatch 550; a SupaSwift Big Bob utility part way through a chassis rebuild [and some extra bits from a second unit I parted out]; and a late [yesterday] addition - 82-3 Mayfair Ute Model MK326A1 [just couldn't resist a freebie that's complete...].
Cheers, Gadge

G'day all Mower Counters I've decided my Gang mower (by definition) is, in fact, three mowers. I'm not including my kitsch condiment dispenser (left). I then have two pushies: a reel-roller and a sidewheel. I then have a tiny mower in the small white box (right]. The tally would be 6 - plus 4 full-size jobs = 10!!!
Thats a hard one! Lets think... 2 1956 1S85 Paces, one 59 Pace, 57,58,59 and 60 Rover, a 61 pope, one Hg palmer Rotomo, a JP Simplex. I think thats it.
3 Power Torques going 1 Power Torque keystart coming together 1 V40 4 stroke 1 yet to be pickedup Honda mulch mow near new. 6 is enough untill a freeby comes along. speedy
