Anybody know this engine, Yamaha MZ175 driving [Censored] pump. After about 10 minutes run time loses power, just keeps going with a lot of popping. Will start next day, same outcome. Any diagnosis please?

I'm not familiar with the engine, but at a guess, valve clearances or coil/plug breakdown when it's hot.

As BigTed suggest probably the ignition system. One thing of note here is that there is a low oil sensor involved.

Also there is 5 versions of this engine so complete model would be need for parts look-up.
