Hi CP,

If I'm correct it's simply 70mm steel tube which is available from most steel merchants.

I'm pretty sure you can't get it in Zinc Finished form as that would be really handy and make the front of the mower look so much better.

Most people paint them which doesn't last long at all, but getting it Zinc Plated and bright dipped is the best option, While you're at the platers add all your fasteners at the same time and you'll be surprised how much cheaper it'll be opposed to going with separate batches every few days and the price doubling up.

Cheers,
BB.

Hi Crumpet

I replaced the old wooden front roller on my webb with a grooved metal one. It helps with standing up lawn blades so more lawn is cut. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to mow around corners though. You can see it here:

Hi guys

I can get 76mm od 3mm thick stainless steel highly polished form a company in Virginia in Brisbane for $28 l/m which should fit bit 3mm over all would that make much of a difference in the cutting of the lawn you think

Hi CP,

As long as you can fit in your end caps without any drama you shouldn't have an issue. It just means that your lowest setting won't get quite as low but your high setting will be higher. Height is generally not what you're chasing in a cylinder mower, it's all about the lower end of the scale.

Anyway I can't see it being a major issue.

Cheers,
BB.

Thanks Bb

I was thinking of spinning up new end caps but might try and use the plastic ones from the ODK online store
