Princess Leia has passed away after suffering a massive heart attack on board a plane. Despite the best efforts of an EMT that was on board, and ambulance and hospital staff, she passed away without regaining consciousness.
In her book, which she was on tour to promote, she requested that regardless of the actual manner her death should be reported as;
"Carrie Fisher has died, bathed in moonlight and strangled by her own bra."

She was born to famous people.
That carries baggage in itself.
My reading is that she was complex - as we all are.
I feel I would like to read her 'Postcards from the Edge".

Her mum dying today put an end to my childhood dreams, she was my pinup girl in my younger years in the fifties

OMG Norm K, just when you think that 2016 can't get any worse. I can't think of single year with so many much loved people lost to the world. Well Debbie didn't have to wait long to see her daughter again anyway.

I've read a few auto/biographies of people that made me laugh over the years. Turns out they're all broken people one way or another.
