Hello All I had a look around and was impressed with the knowledge on the site. I hope to learn more about my Scott Bonner lawnmower with a Kirby 2.5 motor.It was my dads from new and still on the original motor. he passed away some years ago, so I hope to keep it going for a lot more years to come.

If your passion is for Scotty's then you've most certainly come to the right place.

Your story is not an uncommon one, many Scotty's are passed down from Grandparents and Parents to siblings, thus this is a true testament to the Model 45, Supercut and Model 33 that have survived all these years while most other mowers have long ago gone to landfill or scrap heaven to be reincarnated into a flimsy Talon etc.
