OutdoorKing Repair Forum Forums Collectors Corner Cylinder INGS 30inch Dual Drive Mower

This is my latest find and addition to my roller mower collection. It is an Ings mower, 30 inch cut. I bought it from a lady in Rye, Victoria. She originally wanted $850 but after 3 weeks she dropped the price to $500. It is manufactured in Western Australia by a company called Ings who also make scarifier and turf cutters. Not sure how old it is but it is in excellent condition. Instead of clutches it is belt driven. A very well built unit. The reel is only six blades and cutter bar is thick. No quick height adjuster although I will investigate adding one. Landry is in three sections.

I've never seen a 30" Ings reel mower before.
I guess it was inspired by the SB Model 65.

This sort of machine would last a life time - look at those bearing blocks!
It is clear the reel is of real quality. Look at those spirals!
