Replace choke butterfly gvx120

Is it possible to replace this component? I have 2 damaged carbs but if I can swap this bit I can salvage one, if it is possible can someone explain how to do it please. I think I have to pull the gate out somehow and then prise up the linkage, is this correct. Any tips would be appreciated.

all done. Just had to open the plastic shaft a little to pull the disk out and then you can pull the plastic shaft and spring out.
