Hi, from newbie...just registered. Mainly as I gathered from another post that manuals for above mower were available to download? I even subscribed US$15 (as I was earlier denied access to manuals) but then found there were none for the 1866 model anyway.

All is not lost though...a great website and forum and maybe someone can steer me in the right direction. OK, I bought above unit and testing it (on the flat) it seemed to cut and go OK. My place is on the crown of a hill so not all mowing is downhill obviously.

It just struggles up hill with extreme effort required on forward pedal. In fact I gave up using it. Looking at the clutch discs under the seat, only about 1mm left on friction material on both. Also there is a lot of movement where the clutch linkage shuttles the drive discs sideways for forward/reverse. I can see a centreing adjustment but not sure if there is an adjustment to fix that "slop" or maybe the friction discs are too far gone and require replacing.

Are there any maintenance or parts manuals available for these 1866 autos? And are clutch (or any) parts available for same? I could take it to a dealer but not worth spending more $$ than I can, for what it is. It needs a a few other things to sort it but I won't go into those now as unless it drives, not much use sorting those.

Sorry about long post....Cheers in advance.

:welcome: aboard Seamore to our forum and I hope that we can be of some assistance.

In regards to the parts list it is located in the ride on manuals and parts list area just look for this one 01866 because it is the one you are looking for and if you need other manuals upload just post on the forum. We will do our best to get the information uploaded so yourself and the many other members can view. cheers2

Thanks Bruce....I must have missed that sub-category for Ride-ons. Arms aren't long enough to read properly these days bigshock

Great parts list too. Do I post on here what I think I might want and where to get it? For starters, Item 2 of Drive system (A102063) Friction discs, will need a couple of those. They have a special glue or rivet on?

Also, do you or anybody know if the drive belt on those is supposed to "twist" as it goes over the big drive plates or does the vee-belt run sideways in those grooves...if you get my drift?

A user manual would be handy, not sure if that belt installation would be explained in there.

Thanks again. Can't "Seamore" today...bloody fogged in up here!!

Seamore,

Here is the [color:#FF0000]Clutch Cork and as to the drive belt is should sit correctly in the pulley. I will try to upload the owners manual to the parts list and manuals area of the forum soon. cheers2

Brilliant, thanks Bruce.

I'll get that thing apart next cupla days and find what else I might need in there. That subscription ranks with best money I've ever spent.

Steve cheers

Hi, I am looking for the manual for Rancher Rover Mobel 01866 autodrive, specifically a diagram AND following pages with names of parts etc. for the clutch system. My friend is having similar problems to above.

Thanx, Natty

Hello Natty

We have a parts list that identifies the parts here:
https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7306

I will check if we have an operator manual.

Hope this helps.
