Recently picked up this old Mobilco Workmate chainsaw.

Sadly both the engine and chain are seized, however I do still plan to restore it, even if it involves having it rebored.

The teeth are also quite worn, and it may require a new bar when that time comes.

The carby is a Tillotson, and it has a rather interesting "Gun Handle" stile control trigger grip, as well as all the expected safety features for a machine of it's age... None!

It also has a muffler that can only be described as an exhaust vent!

Well, I just pulled off the bar and chain, and found out that the engine is actually turning over well, which is really good news!!!

I have 3 of these (one is parts only) amd a 4th which is a slightly "upper class model" I am yet to go looking for a source of carby kits though, one does run on a good day and is quite the brutal peice of work while running.

I'm ver excited about this one, Just found a very nice examle on ebay HERE

If I can get this one looking that good, I'll be a happy man.

She seems complete, all i would like to find is a cover for the air filter that is not cracked, as well as the bar and chain.

Any chance of some pics of yours Joe??

Here's some of the Ebay one:
