Good day.
Can any one tell me where the loose wire( black end) must be connected to. my lawn mower wont start.

Hello Dougcobb

Welcome to the ODK Forums.
I'm not an expert on these, but the ignition switch does seem to need that connection.

To help us out, we need the mower model number.
I take it, the photos are of the ignition switch?

Also, confirm that the issue is that the engine will not crank when you turn the key.
I guess you have ruled out starter motor failure?

We may have a electrical schematic if we get more info.

know nothing
should have a pullstarter also but not sure on the screws holding the mesh there , hope they dont foul on anything might make a bit of a mess and noise bigshock .

does it start with the cord ? also , dont run it for more than a few minutes or at all without the COOLING cowelling on there mate .

if thats your ignition key switch then it should have 2 wire connections . it looks to me as though one of them has snapped off.when you rotate the key it makes the connection between the 2 wires to send power to your solenoid for starting.?
