Hi All
Just rebuilding my 11hp Briggs and found the retaining bolt for the drive pulley missing. The Cox number for the bolt is SH0720F but what I'm after is the size and thread pitch? Anyone seen this or will it have to be a genuine Cox part?
BTW The bolt not listed as a B&S part on my drawings.
Thanks

The 498994 crankshaft was tap at 7/16"-20 tpi UNF-2B 1" deep per Briggs crankshaft drawings.

So, the thread is 7/16" diameter by 20 threads per inch - in other words, you need a 7/16 UNF bolt. The end of the crankshaft is tapped 1" deep. To select a bolt length you need to know how thick the washer or whatever clamps onto the end of the crankshaft is.

Thanks for the info. I'll put the pulley on and do some measuring.
