I had a visitor today that was bearing a gift.
A Victa Monaro 80 series.I have armed and arhed about having one.I had one a few years ago but gave it away.I'm not giving this one away.I'll hang onto it I'll see how it cleans up and how it runs before I make any decisions on it.May have to get more Monaro's now.
Here's some pictures.

It doesn't seem to be in bad shape I'll give it a clean off tomorrow and see how it comes up.
So thanks for the gift to whom the man with no name.I don't even know his name, but he knows who I'm talking about.Thanks.

It has seen a lot of use.As you can see up the top wear the catcher sits on the base there is large groves also on the catcher flap where the button to hold the flap onto the catcher has worn so thin that it doesn't stay up onto the catcher.
Although it has been well used it still is in a reasonable condition. Now I have it running,I'm not real sure what to do with it.Should I restore it or not? I'm not sure, but I will put it on the shelf for now and work that out later.

Here for a good time, not a long time.
