could someone please tell me how old this mower is from my research its possibly a 76 to 79 model also what type of cathcher should this have it came with a vortex type catcher but the magic eye is missing

I would have to see the engine number,but at the earliest it would be 1979.These models were made late 1979 (And on-wards) and were sold in 1980 and that's why they had the series 80 stickers on the engines cooling cowl.
These were the fist Mustangs after the last VC was dropped from the name.

where would the engine number be locted??? the sticker on the cowl says victa high torque 2 stroke engine
