Hi fellas , I just found the pics of my hoard of mowers , taken just before i locked the door on them and moved to town. There's around 30 or so, mostly 60's models, a couple of standards, 125 Mayfairs, and a Whirlwind or two. there's also engines, cowls and steel catchers. The trouble is now i've spent some time on this jolly forum , i carnt wait now to get them up here and and get em going......dang.....before that, i was happy just knowing they where there!!

Told you i was a bower bird Blue, That's all i could fit in there, the rest sat outside for years then had to go when we did....from what i see people collect on here, there would have been a lot of tears shed me thinks...! And, as for the work Paul, most of the hardest will be getting them up here and housed!!!

A few loads in that lot I would think unless you hire a small truck.

WOW!

hoard is the word and the byword!
There should be a few good stories that come out of this.
Thanks for sharing your ... passion, Squizzy!
Remember, we're open 24hrs a day, should you want to talk 'things' through.

Yes, our clinic does sometimes see collectors displaying
these symptoms - blurred vision in first X-ray above; AHS
(Apocalyptic Hoarding Syndrome) in the others...

All very ... interesting.

Evil laugh noted Blue, but i think it would be short lived once you got your greasy paws in the creeking door, other than a coupla possible roto bases and a coupla standards , every thing else would be NEW for you.......(even eviler laugh).....heheheha. but....if your truck was going to the Island and back to Melbourne on it's way back to Sydney, then keep it running....hehahehaheheee.

Thanks for the offer of help Dr Jack, but i somehow think we're all in the same catcher here, so the unquestioning understanding comimg from this forum is theropy, theripy, therapy.....ahh, you know what i mean, is enough.

now where did i leave my Trading Post???

Yeah but I think Blue would spend a lot of time running back and forward to his car.Which would properly have an empty trailer on it,ha ha ha.
That's not to say I wouldn't either.Gees did I really just type that out.Oh well.
Yes a mower party would be great.

Yeah you are both right.I though many years back that I was the only silly fool that collected mowers.
I was glad to see I wasn't.
We're all in this together.
Up the mighty 2 strokes. rockon rockband yay

G'day all,

I think the ODK forums are grateful to the collectors who started collecting
many years' ago, before lawnmower collecting was considered 'normal behaviour'. Without
collectors - and collections - many machines would have been lost to history.

It would have been a different story had Squizzy said, "... and this is my backyard."
Then, the 24 hour ODK Collector Helpline would have been relevant, the alarm bells
would have sounded loud and clear... :-

Yes I'd have to agree when I looked ....It appears to be an American graveyard by what I can see. Toro, Murry, Husky and John deere styles and colours....I can't recognize One mower, except the black plastic tank looks familiar to the 24 but nothing else matches.

I want a Rotomo graveyard...oh wait, I pretty much have one lols.
