Hi I noticed in a previous post there was mention of carb manuals being available in the Parts & manuals section of the forum- problem is I can't see how to get there.

Also can I make the black plastic carb from a victa mulch & mow behave behave in the same fashion as the later Victas with the VX 160 motors, i.e governed in such a way as they remained at low revs unless they hit a heavy patch of grass where upon they increased engine speed until they returned to normal height grass
and returned to normal revs.

Settings for the white poppet valve in plastic carbs- what is the normal setting( a,b or c) and does this valve determine maxium engine revs, rather than actual fuel mixture?
If valve determines revs what is lowest revs achieved at,- a or c

thanks Bryce

nz635,

Yes manuals are available to people that support the board with donations from time to time. :Wavey:

The poppet valve setting normally is 'C'. woot

In the parts list and manuals area you will find the workshop manual for the carby and engine etc. cheers2
