Nice work, looks like somone may have had a go at restoring her? I need a new back axle for my one here also, tried one from a slightly later 18" cut self propelled victa but didnt fit due to the different height adjustment.

It's a later one, 1974-78, G4 (predecessor to LM) carby, and the revised mkii autodrive gearbox, i dhould have the full specs here somewhere, I'll post them when i can find them.

Ok, so it's either a 1974-75 v169, mkIII Vc-auto drive, with MKI drive system, or a 1975-78 V198, MKIV with the MKII vc drive system ( there were two variants of this drive system, it was slightly modified in 1976) the eaiest way to tell for sure is the control, if you flip a metal bar to engage the drive, it's the 74 V169, if you squeeze a plastic lever on the right hand, it's a 1975-78 V198. If you post a pic of the full handle bars, i can post pics of the exact drive assy. To look out for.
Cheers Ty

Until you can get a pic up of the handles, can you describe them, on particular the area you put your hands, and any controls aside from throttle?
Cheers Ty
