Rover mowers now have an engine branded Rover

What is the engine itself like? looks like it could be based on a honda setup?

Yes Joe looking at the parts list it is very close to a honda setup. I have uploaded the parts list to the parts list and manuals area.

So what is the verdict on these engines? I habe not heard good things but others may have a different opinion.

Mate of mine has one second from left, i think its the i4500.

Does a great job, the starter crapped out early in the bit and he starts it with a rope with a wooden handle ah la ye olde Villers/Victa.


My uncle and aunt just bought one, reccomended by a friend who had theirs for over 12 months with no issues. Not sure which one, but its a rover with rover engine.
