I put up a post before about what you use to keep your lawn tidy. Now I'm wondering what your work space is like.At the moment have a room under the house, know as the mower room. Here is what it looked like this afternoon.
[Linked Image]
As you can see it is semi tidy in there at the moment.
[Linked Image]
Currently the shelving is the pallets I used to get the mowers up here to Brisbane.I had made up wooden boxes that are bolted to the pallets. Then just put another pallet on top to make the next level.
[Linked Image]
Of-course there always seems to be that one area that just seems to be messing. This is that area,I really need to come up with something better than this set up.

...and again.

Always must have some form of music. After I have cleaned the garage a bit better I am going to put a computer in here. That way I can..........well you know what I mean.I hope.

This is where the real work happens. This is.....well you know what goes on here you see what is on the table.Yes I know it's only a table I do have to find some kind of bench for here, but it works for now.
OK I've shown you mine now you show me yours.

You are very fortunate to have such an area, this is my alfresco workshop, the shed is now full and there are twelve finished mowers in my garage and four awaiting resto in my box trailer. [Linked Image]

Thanks guys.Alwil now that's impressive although your shed is full, well I'd be happy with a shed that full of that many impressive machine in there.Good work, have you posted pictures before of the gold model 5?I may have the room but I don't have the restores under my belt.Still have to finish the off.Although that took a step backwards last night I finally unwrapped all the painted bases I had. They all have to be repainted not one doesn't have a chunk or scratch on them bugger.

Most have seen my workshop here, however I may upload a pic of the "good shed" when I remember to take a photo of it, its on another property locally, and it only has one mower in it.

Now now Bluegmhtmonaro the ones that you are more after are all pulled apart and most in various stages of restoring. The problem I did was start to many restores at once then ended up with about 12 being done at one time.Bad idea.So I'm just getting myself ready to do one at a time. I'm going to start with my 3 VC-160's as they are the closest to done. Then I think it will be my Scott Bonnar 35's,looking forward to those two. Come on sparker where all friends here,we're not fused as to how good or bad it is.It's all in good fun.Maybe we will be able to get some good ideas from each other.

Yes I do think you need a shed or 6. It's nice to have space I couldn't think of anything worse than not having room to move. You'll get there.

I don't quite follow you blue unless your talking about the picture being side ways. The back wall does look neat and tidy though.

This is at home, not particularly tidy at the moment, and the grass is dead, we havent had worthwhile rain in almost 3 months.

The other shed accross town doesnt really have much of interest in it, just my big boys playtoys - a moke, mini clubman, ke26 corolla panelvan, lx torana, ke35 corolla, vb sl/e v8 commodore, motorbikes, spare mowers in garden shed, etc.

OH my lord Joe that has changed a lot.Less mowers in the yard but more cars.Wow I remember that back left corner with nothing there. In-fact I don't remember two cars in the other corner,or should I say those two cars. Wasn't there some small car there at some point?

Ok Since youve all been so kind and showed your sheds.... Welcome To "Relics Are Us" Be thankfull you can actually see anything as in every corner and every box are parts for Victa And Cyclops Toys...One day id love to display everything,my shed in Golbourn which houses a larger part of my collection is huge, but erm...I dont Live there...And this is only my workshop,as 500 sq mtrs doesnt allow for much storage.

Cool now it's my turn to pick out which ones I would like to have in my collection. I think I'll take most of them. That's not a bad set up you have there as well.

Not sure how many, but I have sent a lot for scrap recently. The corolla and suzuki have always been in the yard, suzukis been there so long the rims are sitting on the dirt, last time I drove it was 2005. the blue vl is spare parts and the maroon and gold calais has had a full underbody restoration, I just need to do the paintwork ontop.

Thanks Darryl I understand that so that's why I don't want to know address unless I'm visiting somebody and there are other ways and means of getting that information. It is unfortunate that there people out there like that.It does wreck it for us good guys. tomo4192 I will wait with painted breathe.I've come up with an idea that may help me.I have seen the shelves that Bunnings have. They are a bit like pallet racking, when my wallet is a bit healthier I plain on getting some set up and do away with the pallets shelving. It will make it easier to get mowers on and off and should be able to get more up on the shelves.Should be great.
